2013 Transition Area |
These distances we've selected are rather short but we think these distances will hopefully be achievable for all participants.
Age Group Swim Bike Run
- 5-6 year old 25 yards 1/4 mile 100 yards
- 7-8 year olds 50 yards 1 mile 1/2 mile
- 9-10 year olds 50 yards 1 mile 1/2 mile
- 11-12 year olds 100 yards 2 miles 1 mile
- 13-14 year olds 100 yards 3 miles 1 mile
- 15-16 year olds 100 yards 3 miles 1 mile
I read something somewhere, but now I can not find it. When is the cut off for age? Must they go by the age they are on the day of the race or is there another date to go by?
ReplyDeleteNever mind. I found it.

ReplyDeleteI have read your post. We love camping. We either take the full on experience with a tent or hit a cabin, mobile home. We would be camping year round if we could. We never really have a plan when we decide to go either so that makes it all the more fun. It is awesome unplugging from the high speeds of life to be able to unwind with outdoor life.

ReplyDeleteIt seems the transition area is good but felling doubt about the age groups. In your photos, it looks there are some young guy whose age are more than 16. Do they won't participate in this event? Note that, there is no event or age groups for them.

Are the distances appropriate for the kids ages?
